How many plan overseas retirement, if so where and why?

Me, though I'm kind of stuck in Texas for a little while longer, I retired to the Philippines and love it. No right-wing, no left-wing, no no-wing, just live as I want. Other than an occasional terrorist coming up from the south and blowing something up, a few typhoons, earthquakes, volcanos, or having to pay off a currupt cop now and then, it's great.
