Another one of those "I don't remember how I found my way here" sites that I am pretty excited about! Read the mission, goals and values, and tell me you're not interested. I've used it once and saw Brad Paisley for $10 for 2 tickets (roughly) with a friend who needs a heart transplant. We plan little carrots, usually concerts, every few months as reminders to take care of ourselves so we can go.

I used it last year to get free Sea World San Diego tickets for myself, wife, and child.

Just click on the link on the VetTix cards and it will bring you right to the site.

To admin: I clicked on the "duplicate question" and although similar, they are not duplicates. The other one asks if " anyone has heard of similar organizations" which would explain why it did not show up when I checked prior to posting this specific direct question. "Have you heard of similar organizations " does not equal "How many of you have used VetTix." Were you to be working on standardized testing and asked if these were the same or different how would you answer? Yes or No are your only options. i.e.. Yes,I've flown paper airplanes.... No, I've never had a chance to sit inside of a space shuttle as it launched.

It is a great organization. I'm a member already, & have let my buddies' know about it as well. Scored tickets to the Clemson vs Alabama College Football Championship game in Arizona back in January, concert tickets, & WNBA itckets. Good stuff!

Joining is easy too. I believe Maj Kim Patterson provided a link in her original post.

They are going to have you send a redacted copy of your DD 214 and a state issued ID. 214 is to verify service. DL is what's needed to confirm you are who you say & to pick up tickets. You also get 20 virtual coins. These coins are used for biding to high item events (for example, Kenny Chesney, Rhianna & Eninem, Beyonce, MLB/NFL/MLS games).

I have used Vettix a few times, this past week I used them for a Charlotte Knights vs. Durham Bulls Baseball Game, four tickets for $7.98. I have used Vettix in Charlotte, NC and always have had a good time. I have recommended this site to people in my unit as well as people I meet who are veteran's or still serving.
