I've never taken the Army's test pure, but I did take what the proctors called the "Ranger In-Test." Which consisted of max pullups, max sit ups, max push ups and a 5 mile run timed at 1.5 3.5 and 5 mile marks. That was the first event of the day followed by a lot more stuff as the Recon Screener.<br /><br />Oh, and I don't know what the "pass" times or scores are for my service or others. This was back when their fitness test just came out. Our Full Bird thought it would be a great idea to have a couple of Army guys become Physical Training Leaders (PTL), so I had to take their test. I did not take the Army test again once I got in the Air Force....and didn't take the Air Force test when I was in the Army. I've heard it's changed a little bit since then, but I appreciate the way they do sit-ups. It causes less pressure and strain on the neck and spine. When I attended the USMC Mountain Survival Course at Bridgeport of April, 2014 - I had to take the Marine Corps PFT. I don't know if it was because we were TDY all the time or if someone somewhere was pencil-whipping them, but I only took one PT test the entire time.
