How many have unit retiree breakfasts and what do you do?

My unit, 1/518th BCT, has a retiree breakfast planned for every other month. Someone mentioned that he still had the flyer from the first one 20 years ago and believed that he is the only one left from the original one. We were told that our HCC will be moved and we were trying to acquire some of the items. Someone had this sign and I told him that I will bring it back to the next meeting.

I love that we get together and we share updates to our unit plus bring in guest speakers that are applicable to us today. This past meeting we had Army Strong come for our breakfast and Susan Bennett did an awesome job! Although we had pending snow, we had 26 attendees! You can't keep Drill Sergeants from not attending!

I attend several, both military and law enforcement. They are wonderful times!!!

I just go hang out at my local Starbucks in the morning. There are always a few of us retired military there talking over coffee and watching the busy bodies rush in and out.

Unit Retiree Breakfasts: This is an interesting concept, I had never heard of unit retiree breakfasts. I am looking for old pictures of past military stuff.
