I do not care about their personal income taxes. It is not a Constitutional requirement or even a legal requirement that they show them. It is another tempest in a teapot.

If you are bragging on your Business Success, It is, I want to know just how successful and how you made that Money, What Do you donate too for your Tax Breaks, Are they Causes that I agree with or that are against my Values?

Don't really care. I have become very cynical about anybody who runs for office. But I still vote so I can at least complain when things don't go right in my opinion. Also I am always hopeful things will turn out good.

Honestly this shouldn't even be an issue. So it is something that candidates have been doing for awhile. It takes away from the other issues, like what to do about ISIS, North Korea having nukes, Chinese expansion in their region, etc. Unless your someone who claims to be running successful businesses or charitable organizations, who cares about your tax returns?

Looks like everyone is loosing sight of the real problem...
How Many Career Politicians are behind in paying taxes are hiding Funds in Off Shore Accounts and are still getting a free pass ... when the average citizen would be buried under the jail, if we did the same thing...
Ever ask how they get so damn rich working in Congress... They make the laws we have to follow and exempt Themselves from the Laws for Life...

Call me nuts, but if Trump had anything to hide on his Taxes, someone in the IRS would have released all his tax returns from when he got his first allowance from dad. Now, I would like to see the Clinton Crime Family Foundation (sorry Rush) tax returns and donor list. That would be interesting reading.

It has become a trend to show your tax returns when running for president. It's not a requirement yet some (or many) seem to think it is. Personally, I couldn't care less.

I don't. Bill Clinton would not show his medical records. Afraid we would see that he snorted cocain. Obama would not show his College transcripts. Hillary never produced the transcripts of her speeches to Wall Street.

I didn't at first but now I'm curious.. What's he hiding? More donations that he made that he shouldn't have? Donations he claimed to make but didn't? Taxes he isn't paying? We don't know.

I think they are relevant because they help determine if someone holding the Presidency could use the office to enrich himself/herself at taxpayers' expense, and the tax filings could help the voters determine if the potential exists. Plus, they are also relevant to know whether or not he/she has any open conflicts of interest that might influence how they govern.

Using them to determine tax rates and wealth are essentially irrelevant, but do have political utility. I don't like those uses of tax returns, but I think they are a worthwhile tradeoff to ensure that our President will honestly represent the interests of the people.

I don't. It is not relevant. And it is neither a law nor some statutory requirement to show one's tax returns anyone or to make public one's taxes in any election.

A multi-millionaire with a slush fund disguised as a charity and a billionaire have plenty of access to highly skilled accountants who can hide whatever they want. Their taxes they show us don't mean d*ck. (And no, I didn't mean "duck")

Personally I don't care and I don't think it's relevant. Here's my issue. First, I know I'm not alone in this, but doing my own taxes is hard enough. Why the hell would I want to scrutinize the taxes of someone who has vastly more wealth than I. Next and this is what I think the real issue is... Trump is independently wealthy so it's less likely that he's in someone's pocket unlike a career politician who seem to get wealthier and wealthier the longer they are in office.

But like I said... most Americans can barely handle their own taxes. What in the world are we going to do with someone else's tax returns.
