How Long is the chapter process?

I am currently in the process of being separated from the army during AIT at ft Lee. I have done the SFL TAP and attended the pre-separation briefing, what else is there to do and how much longer does this process take?

It really depends on what you are being chaptered for. It can be quick, or it can take a while.

It can take 3-6 months depending on the actual chapter, likely a 5-17. It depends on getting into all the necessary appointments, the paperwork getting through the proper command and legal channels, and so forth. It can take a while. Bit of advice, don't get frustrated with the process, let it happen, because if you get in trouble it can quickly go south. Try to be helpful with your cadre and command.

It can be as quick as a month or a few months. There are a lot of task that you have complete. The SFL-TAP is usually the biggest hurdle. That is as long as your packet makes it to a COL to sign off on the providers recommendation.

Depends on the Chapter. I've seen them take 2 months. I've seen them take 3 years.

It takes as long as PSC and COC want it to. If they are motivated to release you, not long. If not, it could take a while. I would just be patient. Getting anxious over this will not speed things up or slow things down.
