But, I work with some one who oddly enough does not go out for one weekend. The past two months I have worked with him he has been gone for two weeks in May and again this month. Does it depend of mos and or rank? How long is drill? 2018-06-05T11:43:04-04:00 Cpl Arvin Konrad Madison 3686695 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I know the title may come off as, just look it up, or duh one weekend. I do believe there is a program/option that you can conduct your military training once a year for 4-6 weeks. I speak of this because I have a friend who is a MAJ in the AF Reserves and this is what he does, and my counterpart I just replaced here in Honduras, he is looking into that option. Most units will excuse you from Drill if you have Active training during the month, or at least until you get some rank. As an officer, I averaged about 100 duty days a year between meetings, schools, extra duty assignments, AT&#39;s and Drill. Youngest son is in the Guard and works for the same company as me. He was gone for 2 weeks last month then still had weekend drill. Now he is gone again for 3 weeks.
