I am prior service joining the Army. I was told that I will be attending MOS-T instead of IET for 74D. What is the length of MOS-T and what should I expect?

11 weeks, stay away from IET Soldiers outside of school. Seen a lot of no good happen with fraternizing while I was there.

this..... I did 14T school as MOS-T and the only time we saw the IET soldiers was in class. We were housed in separate barracks, did PT on our own, etc. Occasionally we stayed after class for small group study but there should be ZERO socializing between MOS-T and IET. that's asking for trouble.

Welcome to the Chemical Corps you will learn Hazmat Operations and Hazmat Awareness. Also Radiation Classess its based on hands-on and tests.
I fully recommend studying or you will fail its two tests you need to be MOS Proficient. So study I found teaching it in small groups is the easiest way to retain it and learn it.
Lots of hands on and learning this is in a nutshell if you have questions or need help please reach out to my email or DM me here very happy to share my knowledge.

As a MOS-T you will be given a lot of freedoms IET soldier's don't have. You can expect to do PT with your company and attend class. Other than that you don't attend formations for the most part. You don't eat in the DFAC.
As far as class goes, it's open notes with the exception of Hazmat and MCD. AIT isn't hard but people often fail because tests because they don't pay attention to detail. Most of the exams you need a 70% to pass with the exception of MCD and Hazmat.
