How long does the National Guard have to get a soldier MOS qualified?

Prior service, re-enlisted into secondary MOS that mirrored civilian career.
Fulfilled original 3 year contract without being MOSQ'd. Currently deployed on 1 year extension. E-4 filling an E-5 slot even though I am not qualified for the position.
What options do I have, if any?

But, to answer your question:
Since you came back in with your Secondary MOS, all that needs to be done is someone clicking a button generating orders stating that is now your Primary MOS. And it shouldn't take long. First step that you need to do is talk with your S1 to figure out where the drop in the cracks happened.

SPC (Join to see) - I'm just double checking. If 12M is not your primary MOS listed in your documents...to include your ERB/ARB...but slotted in a 12M slot...then you should NOT have deployed. Someone dida serious boo boo.

MSG (Join to see) - See the thing is, I'm a civilian firefighter. I hold all certifications required for 12M except for 1. That is Emergency Medical Responder. Soldiers get that cert through 12M AIT. When I rejoin the guard, I wasn't required to go through AIT. For 3 years I thought I was MOSq'd.

1SG (Anonymous) This only part of the problem. Can’t get on promotion list or BLC because I’m not MOS’d. I can re-enlist once my extension is done but can’t receive the bonus that comes along with it.
The main problem is I have completed the EMR course (emergency medical response) that has held me up. Now I can’t get an answer as to why nobody is doing their job by trying to push the issue. It’s been 3.5 years now. To me it seem like such a simple thing to get done. Basically the right phone call should remedy the issue.
I’ve been trying to follow my chain of command bust seriously considering doing an end around.
