How long does it take for a volunteer recruiting packet to reach Branch?

no one knows. there are a number of hoops it has to go through and you never know if someone will be asleep at the wheel at any of the stations.

Have you reach your respective USAREC POC for guidance? They have a very strict protocol for volunteer recruiters. Although, if your packet is strong, is well known USAREC overrides your branch.

I will tell you from experience, if you are a 35 series, you will not be released to recruiting via volunteer status. I was accepted, then told by branch that the entirety of the MI Corp is so understrength that you will only be released vis the DA Select route, not the Volunteer route.

Be CAREFUL what you wish for before being mi n NJaccepted by USAREC as a "volunteer" recruiter. The monthly, quarterly and annual recruiting Mission can emhance an Army Career tremendously but it can also "break" one! Most recruiters work around the clock to 15 hours daily to make Mission and you will rarely have quality time with your family.

Make sure you have a good recruiting plan and STRONG POSITIVE ATTITUDE. Never roll a zero because this will adversely impact your Army Career and prequal all your applicants carefully so you can frontload "qualified" applicants early in the month.
