I got cleared from my orthopedic doctor and sent up all my medical documents from Fort Jackson in a med read to Meps . We first sent it ( oct 10) still heard nothing back and then re sent it up (dec 20) My re enlistment code is Re-3 JFV . My med read packet is 50 pages long. Why is the process taking so long ? Also I know I’m gonna need a waiver for my stress fractures , is that waiver hard to get approved ? Do I have a good shot at re joining or should I make a plan B ? I don’t want to get my hopes upHow long does a med read take ?2019-01-05T23:05:40-05:00PVT Private RallyPoint Member4262860<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I got discharged from basic 9 months ago due to hip stress fractures . These are business days. Now with that said- if it got kicked back because something wasn’t right or something the time frame starts over. Around the second submission was the holidays so time off from work occurred. And frankly these things can take time with a bunch of back and forth- every doctor wants things their way. Waiver wise- again these things take time. But yes, it could very well be approved. I’ve seen all sorts of things approved that blew my mind. But there is always the possibility it won’t.<br />If this is what you want then you simply need to be patient.Response by MSG Private RallyPoint Member made Jan 5 at 2019 11:14 PM2019-01-05T23:14:16-05:002019-01-05T23:14:16-05:00SFC Ralph E Kelley4263502<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Did you ask the Doctor?Response by SFC Ralph E Kelley made Jan 6 at 2019 9:49 AM2019-01-06T09:49:41-05:002019-01-06T09:49:41-05:00Trevor Richardson4334919<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Mine took 8 business days for a 3 page eye exam's results.Response by Trevor Richardson made Feb 1 at 2019 6:47 PM2019-02-01T18:47:31-05:002019-02-01T18:47:31-05:00SSG Private RallyPoint Member6223777<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Depends.
