I will be on a temporary for 7.5 months total. I was told literally do not do anything as I have Myocarditis (infected and enlarged heart). I understand the severity of this but I am also concerned about my career. I also am wondering what will happen with my P status as I am on the Mandatory Integration List and my APFT expires in 53 days. Will I get my P status back once I pass an APFT? Will I have a career after a 7.5 month temporary do nothing profile? My work capacity on this profile is sit at a desk for 4 hours a day max. Research online is overwhelming because it is like a flow chart on 8 different pages lolHow long can you be on a temporary "deadman" profile before MEB is initiated?2020-07-16T20:15:09-04:00SPC(P) Private RallyPoint Member6108800<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I had a heart attack and now I am on a literally do no physical activity or anything that will raise my heart rate higher than if I were to walk into a building and back to my truck only when necessary. But, if I were a betting/guessing man, you will probably face an MEB/PEB after your profile ends and re-evaluated. But, again, that is just a guess. Speak with your doctor about this.Response by MSG Private RallyPoint Member made Jul 16 at 2020 8:18 PM2020-07-16T20:18:16-04:002020-07-16T20:18:16-04:00SFC Jake Middaugh6108890<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I left you a message. They had me running 6 weeks after mine! The whole idea of rehab was to get my heart rate to 140 without having chest pain.Response by PO2 Skip Kirkwood made Jul 18 at 2020 10:08 PM2020-07-18T22:08:42-04:002020-07-18T22:08:42-04:002020-07-16T20:15:09-04:00
