How long can I wait to go to MOS training once I sign a reclass agreement?

I am re-enlisting for 2 years so I can reclass to 68W. NG How long do I have once I sign to go to AIT? Meaning I need to sign to re up but I need to save money so I can afford to go Away to AIT for my family

Whenever the state has the funds and there is a class slot available. I’ve heard of states not being able to get class slots for over a year or more.

CPT Lawrence Cable
The Guard used to run a 7 week 3 phase Reclass school for MOS qualified soldiers going to 68W. That isn't in the same food chain as the Active Duty schools. Should be able to look on ATRRS to see if it's still out there.

You're going to have to keep on checking with the Training NCO to see when this is happening. Could be months, could be weeks....could be a year. Gonna depend on funding availability as to when you get a seat and orders
