SSG Private RallyPoint Member 5606930 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I am reclassing to 74D. I will be attending CBRN school in less than 45 days, but have yet to receive anything besides an ATRRS reservation. I tried reaching out to the school house for guidance, but haven&#39;t heard anything back yet. My biggest concern is that I am trying to take leave prior to reporting and I&#39;m stuck at the moment since I don&#39;t have the appropriate information to complete my travel voucher. My DTS manager says they can&#39;t do anything without the LOA that will come from the school house. How long before reclass training should I expect a welcome letter, packing list, etc..? 2020-02-27T17:03:22-05:00 SSG Private RallyPoint Member 5606930 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I am reclassing to 74D. This is the worst phase of the CBRN in Indy school whether it is AIT, ALC, or SLC. just take copious notes and study your butt off. Know the placards and memorize all classes of material. If you give me your email I may be able to help you further Response by SFC Martin Rickert made Feb 27 at 2020 5:26 PM 2020-02-27T17:26:19-05:00 2020-02-27T17:26:19-05:00 SFC Private RallyPoint Member 5607152 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>You won&#39;t get one. Your MOS AIT is an entry level MOS so you take the things you would bring from Basic.<br /><br />You aren&#39;t necessarily authorized to take leave because you&#39;re going TDY. You can take leave after before your report date. There&#39;s no LOA that will come from the school house. You will come on assignment 120 days prior to your class date. Your class information will be in your orders. You should not be arranging travel through DTS. You are TDY enroute and will require a manual DD1610 for your TDY Authorization Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Feb 27 at 2020 6:14 PM 2020-02-27T18:14:21-05:00 2020-02-27T18:14:21-05:00 MAJ Ken Landgren 5608233 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>This is off tangent, but that training can be invaluable in the military and civilian positions in disaster preparedness and response.
