Your Career Counselor can't tell you because nobody knows what movement policies you'll fall under when it's time to move you. This is a Branch Manager question. All we can tell you is that since you can't reenlist for a duty station, "maybe" you can reenlist for a bonus if one's available when you are eligible. Otherwise, you'll come on assignment at some point and you have 45 days to reenlist or sign a declination statement.

Generally speaking, HRC will try to keep you on station 36 months. You'll usually find out where you're going 6-12 months from then, depending on your marketplace opening - if you're even placed in the marketplace. Different branches are following different guidelines

How long ago did the reenlistment happen? What's your current TOS at your present location?

I haven’t re-enlisted yet because I wanted to get this answered first since the career counselor didn’t know. I’ve got 15 months time on station, 11 months until ETS.

SGT (Join to see) - Tracking. Honestly, I would say you'd probably see orders within 60 days of reenlisting. But, that's a guess. I'd tag SFC Jason Boyd, but I'm unable to. Seek him out as he is a Career Counselor. SFC Boyd is FULL of excellent knowledge and can certainly answer this question better than I could.
