How is on post housing at Fort Bragg?

Live off post, spring lake is pretty nice and the manchester gate is empty every morning

The housing on Bragg has improved a lot in the past 10 years. The housing areas along Bastogne have had major renovations and since Pope has been incorporated, the housing has gotten much better.

Check out the company website. The housing is privatized like all posts. Just like most of the places I've been, there is section 8 style, very industrialized like housing and then there is nice housing. Family size and or pay grade plays a factor. I left Bragg in 2012. If you are not 100% set on living on post there are nice areas off the installation. Raeford is a nice area..

I only live in the barracks while single then off post once I got married.

Picerne (think I spelled that correctly) does a great job at Bragg. Community centers, pools, quick maintenance and nice homes.

Any recent updates on what areas on post are best? My wife got orders to PCS here with 18th. Right now our options are Hammond Hills, Bataan, Corrigedor Courts, Casablanca Anzio, Pope, St Mere Eglise, and Nijmegen Cherbourg(sorry if any spelling is off). We have a soon to be 3yr old son and I am planning to re-enlist next year(Dual Mil), once we arrive I will be hitting the gym again to get my fat ass back in shape. Any help would be appreciated I am trying to pick today if I can but I am making a priority list.
