Where is the money coming from to pay for just Shipping these people here? This campaign to bring over Syrians has cost American tax payers $1,600,000,000 (1.6 Billion). and Hillary Clinton says she wants to raise that to 65,000 people.....If we assume the cost will be similar. The UPFRONT cost to the tax payer will be $10,400,000,000 (10.4 Billion)....Now, I know that to career politicians, no amount of money sounds ridiculous because they are talking about spending everyone else&#39;s money. But at what point do we tell them to stop spending our money? Politicians spend money like Hookers on vacation, no one can deny that. Billions of dollars every year go out the door. We&#39;ve given $16,000,000,000 to Palestine and it was found that almost all of it went to Terrorist Organizations. We&#39;ve given $5,000,000,000 to ISIS for that Traitor Bergdhal. $2,000,000,000 to Morsi to oppress his people in Egypt, and over $500,000,000 to Al-Qaeda and the Taliban in Syria....I mean &quot;Syrian Rebels&quot;. AND WE&#39;RE 18 TRILLION IN DEBT.<br />....The second issue to address is, $1.6 Billion is just the upfront cost. Let&#39;s look at back-end costs. Of the total estimated 50 Million Islamic Immigrants that have moved into Europe, an estimated 80% are on government assistance (<a target="_blank" href="http://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/5856/welfare-jihad">http://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/5856/welfare-jihad</a>). So if we are to assume that the figures will be the same, or similar, then we are bringing people to this country so they can be on welfare. They will be our permanent temperamental 16 years old children that complain their allowance isn&#39;t enough, and how we all need to respect their rights as independent individuals.....That&#39;s what we have to look forward to. <br />...Meanwhile the VA just complained they are $2.6 Billion short. 1 in 50,000 veterans are homeless. We have Millions on Welfare ALREADY, and many on the brink.....I&#39;m not going to stipulate why certain groups push for more poverty stricken immigration, but it seems to me that a certain group is looking to shore up some extra guaranteed votes. At the same time it emerged that the U.S. State Department had hired an Al-Qaeda offshoot organization, the February 17th Martyrs Brigade, to “defend” the Benghazi Mission months before the attack. Senator Paul was vindicated less than three months later when it emerged that the CIA had been subjecting its operatives to monthly polygraph tests in an effort to keep a lid on details of the arms smuggling operation being leaked.<br />CNN subsequently reported that dozens of CIA agents were on the ground in Benghazi during the attack and that the polygraph tests were mandated in order to prevent operatives from talking to Congress or the media about a program that revolved around “secretly helping to move surface-to-air missiles out of Libya, through Turkey, and into the hands of Syrian rebels.” Key Syrian rebel leaders later defected to join ISIS. In addition to ISIS obtaining weapons from Benghazi, many members of the group were also trained by the United States at a secret base in Jordan in 2012.<br />"<a target="_blank" href="http://www.globalresearch.ca/u-s-general-we-helped-build-isis-islamic-state-obtained-weapons-from-u-s-consulate-in-benghazi-libya/5399141">http://www.globalresearch.ca/u-s-general-we-helped-build-isis-islamic-state-obtained-weapons-from-u-s-consulate-in-benghazi-libya/5399141</a> <div class="pta-link-card answers-template-image type-default"> <div class="pta-link-card-picture"> </div> <div class="pta-link-card-content"> <p class="pta-link-card-title"> <a target="blank" href="http://www.globalresearch.ca/u-s-general-we-helped-build-isis-islamic-state-obtained-weapons-from-u-s-consulate-in-benghazi-libya/5399141">U.S. General: &quot; We Helped Build ISIS” - Islamic State Obtained Weapons from U.S. Consulate in...</a> </p> <p class="pta-link-card-description">Photo: Hillary Clinton with the &quot;Libyan rebels&quot;.&amp;nbsp; During an appearance on Fox News, General Thomas McInerney acknowledged that the United States “helped build ISIS” as a result of the group obtaini...</p> </div> <div class="clearfix"></div> </div> Response by CPO Andy Carrillo, MS made Nov 18 at 2015 9:04 PM 2015-11-18T21:04:14-05:00 2015-11-18T21:04:14-05:00 PV2 Scott Goodpasture 1117806 <div class="images-v2-count-1"><div class="content-picture image-v2-number-1" id="image-68695"> <div class="social_icons social-buttons-on-image"> <a href='https://www.facebook.com/sharer/sharer.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.rallypoint.com%2Fanswers%2Fhow-is-it-that-we-have-money-for-syrian-refugees-but-not-vets%3Futm_source%3DFacebook%26utm_medium%3Dorganic%26utm_campaign%3DShare%20to%20facebook' target="_blank" class='social-share-button facebook-share-button'><i class="fa fa-facebook-f"></i></a> <a href="https://twitter.com/intent/tweet?text=How+is+it+that+we+have+money+for+Syrian+Refugees%2C+but+not+Vets%3F%3F&amp;url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.rallypoint.com%2Fanswers%2Fhow-is-it-that-we-have-money-for-syrian-refugees-but-not-vets&amp;via=RallyPoint" target="_blank" class="social-share-button twitter-custom-share-button"><i class="fa fa-twitter"></i></a> <a href="mailto:?subject=Check this out on RallyPoint!&body=Hi, I thought you would find this interesting:%0D%0AHow is it that we have money for Syrian Refugees, but not Vets??%0D%0A %0D%0AHere is the link: https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/how-is-it-that-we-have-money-for-syrian-refugees-but-not-vets" target="_blank" class="social-share-button email-share-button"><i class="fa fa-envelope"></i></a> </div> <a class="fancybox" rel="169ec23ff643ef3fcedbb271c4b9329f" href="https://d1ndsj6b8hkqu9.cloudfront.net/pictures/images/000/068/695/for_gallery_v2/031a4bb.jpeg"><img src="https://d1ndsj6b8hkqu9.cloudfront.net/pictures/images/000/068/695/large_v3/031a4bb.jpeg" alt="031a4bb" /></a></div></div> Response by PV2 Scott Goodpasture made Nov 18 at 2015 9:13 PM 2015-11-18T21:13:56-05:00 2015-11-18T21:13:56-05:00 2LT Earl Dean 1118032 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Thats an easy one! funding thru Republican and liberal funding streams, they can take off what they give as tax shelters! Name one President that really gave a shit about Veterans. What about all the ones who have been homeless since the Vietnam war? Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, Bush, Clinton, Bush Obama. Not one has really given a damn because they know this country has a safety net to assist them. This country is part of the International community. That is why we are accepting refugees. No amount of money is going to cure the homeless Vets problem. Some veterans do not want help. I have seen many turn down help. Some have told me they hate how the Military treated them and want nothing from the VA. Many are mental and should be committed, but who will sign off? Like many homeless, some just want to be left alone! I didn't know that members could block opposing comments by other members. CPT Servicemember apparently does not want to hear an explanation of my Down vote. He appears to believe that I object to his position regarding the GOP response to the relocation of Syrian refugees. Here is the reason for my down vote -<br />"So ALL(my emphasis) of my big strong military brothers and sisters in Arms here on RP - terrified of a bunch of children and elderly women, and rape victims? Shame on you for irrational fear." <br />Way too broad a brush, CPT. Not for a moment do I believe that every member of Rally Point fears the thought of Syrian "children and elderly women, and rape victims" arriving on our shores. I do believe, just as any person with experience in the Middle East should, that it is prudent to subject those seeking refugee status from that area be more closely scrutinized than others. I do not believe that every last person here fears these folks for no rational cause. Witness those members who demonstrate their approval of your position by their Up votes.
