Humphrey&#39;s is kinda like that, but with no Green Beans...<br /><br />Seriously though, Korea is great. Just make sure you explore. Go to museums, climb mountains, take tours, explore the cities. If you stay out of your room and do more than just go to bars, Korea is one of the best duty stations in the Army. I was there in August riding the shuttle everyday. I’m sure it was as unconditional to all those JR enlisted as it was for me. I mostly covered my rank to not make them uncomfortable. The last thing they need is an O6 messing with them around their living area. When I was there in 1980 it was a hell hole. We were first located at Camp Howard which was closed then to Camp Humphreys. I was glad when I was attached to another unit for most of my tour. Everybody in my unit at Camp Humphreys hated it so it wasn&#39;t just me.<br />Here&#39;s a photo of 560th Med Company area. Notice the antenna on the roof of the barracks. No cable TV in those days.
