How is 2CR and Germany?

I just recently re-enlisted for Germany and got it. Can anyone tell me what 2CR is like? I hear they haven't deployed in a while but do rotations. What is it like?

I spent three years in 2CR. Don't stay in the barracks or housing area. Enjoy your surroundings. MWR have one of the best trips for soldiers and even better for single soldiers. You will have a couple of rotations and most likely you will be at the field a lot. But it's part of it. The public transportation. Specially the train service it's super nice and ussr friendly, once you learn how to use it. Try to buy a hooptie from someone on post if you want to drive around. Part of the inproc is getting your German license. It's an easy test but start to study the material before you get there. A big downsize for me was the cellular technology available , at least back then. My recommendation , only purchase your cellphone service on post. It's expensive but worth it. Have fun!

are at 2cr? im just wondering because thats where im going and wanted to know if i could get some info on the unit
