How have you honored the memory of friends lost in combat

While deployed to Afghanistan in 2011-12, my BN lost nine men in combat and one other to suicide.  It left a deep need in my soul to remember these men in a way that would continue to honor their sacrifice.  What are some special ways your have remembered those lost in combat?

I think one of the best ways to honor our fallen soldiers is through success. The enemy wants to see America burn down, they want to see America destroyed and nothing upsets them more than a prosperous country where freedom rings. We want to never forget our fallen comrades and the photos you show are also great ways to honor them and we can continue to honor them in those ways.

But if our country to go in a sharp decline, then I believe what they fought for would be in vain. If our country grows leaps and bounds, then I believe we can truly honor the memory and look back to see our country is alive and well because of them.

I lost a good friend of mine back in 2003 in Iraq. There were two ways that I honored his memory. I have a KIA bracelet that I wear. I also have a tattoo in his memory. He was a big fan of Spawn which he had a tattoo of. So I also got a tattoo of Spawn in memory of him.
