My friend, for example, a Capt in the AF, brought her dog to work yesterday instead of leaving him at home (we work a 9/80 schedule). There are a number of ways to work out dog-sitting situations, you just need to talk to your Chain and/or neighborhood or community members and see what options are out there for you at your current post.Response by SrA Private RallyPoint Member made Jun 30 at 2018 8:06 PM2018-06-30T20:06:00-04:002018-06-30T20:06:00-04:00LTC John Mohor3757103<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>The wife remaining home with the dogs was key!Response by LTC John Mohor made Jun 30 at 2018 8:32 PM2018-06-30T20:32:43-04:002018-06-30T20:32:43-04:00SGT David A. If you are in a deploying service or MOS, think hard about having a pet. It will limit your housing options and increase your housing costs, considerably. Instead volunteer at the local pet shelter. Dealing with so many pets and getting the adoption ready, you will be a pet genius when the time comes for a permanent pet.Response by Maj John Bell made Jul 1 at 2018 6:22 AM2018-07-01T06:22:25-04:002018-07-01T06:22:25-04:00SFC Charles Temm3758494<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Luck and with what is now an ex actually caring enough about the dogs more than slutting around (for awhile)Response by SFC Charles Temm made Jul 1 at 2018 12:31 PM2018-07-01T12:31:03-04:002018-07-01T12:31:03-04:00SGM Bill Frazer3759852<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Unless you are married and she is on post housing or off post housing- say good bye to your dog.Response by SGM Bill Frazer made Jul 1 at 2018 11:58 PM2018-07-01T23:58:39-04:002018-07-01T23:58:39-04:002018-06-30T19:55:02-04:00
