I remember shortly after 9/11 (or maybe it was 2003), it was taken seriously... but I don't think it has ever... EVER been down to green... I believe it is to condition people to be on edge...<br /><br />When it turns red, I'll know something disastrous happened in this country... like Kim &amp; Kanye broke up... or that Bruce Jenner guy got the switch-a-roo operation back to being a man... I know it has been up and down but I every time I see this graphic it is no lower than BRAVO. <br /><br />A good follow up to this question might be "What will it take to see the threat level return to "Normal?" Assuming that it has ever been there in the first place.
