How far would you go to get the perfect photo? Would you climb to the highest bldg and hang off of the edge to get the perfect shot?

I've done some really crazy things to get a photo, but I'm pretty sure I would not get this crazy.

I would hire or coerce somebody else since I am disabled Sgt Kelli Mays :-)
However, in the past I was at times known to take similar risks as the person in the photo :-)

Hanging off of a roof won't change the perspective enough for the risk involved, in this situation it's all about selling his work by creating a "risky" environment.

I was out with friends on a picnic and saw a ...Ill say 2 year old Moose calf in the park we were in.I wanted pics very badly so I headed that direction. Now mind you I have several crushed vertebrae and two destroyed hips as well as a detached ham string all balled up on my leg, so moving fast if at all is a big issue for me.I wound up just feet from this beauty in the V of a tree it was munching next to and began shooting pics, had I spooked it and it got aggressive, I had no way to run.We were closer than 5 feet for some of these shots.

Uh... I might climb up to my own roof maybe? No, I'd travel the world before I climbed more than, say, 30 feet. If that. I'm scared to death of heights.

About fifteen years ago I had climbed the back side of Half Dome in Yosemite National Park.
As I stood out on the very tip of the nose tring to get a shot of an unfortunately smoke-filled Yosemite Valley a sudden wind gust hit me in the face. I dropped to my hands and knees and backed up to a more solid footing. Looking around, I discovered that I was momentarily alone on the summit - no one would have heard me scream if I had slipped.

I was Photographer once upon a time and I do like to climb but not fond of the edge of Buildings. Not enough to hang on to for my book.

I use to do somethings that were really over the edge but now with new cameras and iPhones you are always ready to get the perfect picture.
