How Effective and Efficient will the U.S. Army's Delta Force be in the fight again Daesh in Iraq?

The U.S Army has Deployed its Elite Unit to Iraq! How effective will they be in regards to ground operations? Will they be able to Dismantle ISIL?

If delta is truly going on ops in Iraq then we should never hear of it.......unless they fail. Which we all know, that is not an option.

This is one of the many things they have been doing for over 10 yrs in Afghanistan. I have no doubts they will take care off daesh. As long as the politicians leave then to do their job.

I expect a lot of Daesh leaders getting ghosted. More or less hogged tied and shoved into a duffle bag, hauled off to some CIA annex and 'interrogated'. Once the intel is gathered a hit list is created. Then they'll break off into sniper teams to either take the shots or paint the targets. It will be a very quite event. Much like in Libya. The U.S. Kill/Capture list has no expiration date. You don't want to get on that list.

If given the task without restrictions I have no doubt that there will be less Daesh in the future. The problem will be keeping the local authorities (Police/Military) out of their business...... in this "politically correct" environment.

I believe with their vast knowledge they will provide a coordination cell for the Iraqi Army and US Air Force and the pursuit of HVTs.
