I was going to say the same thing. We are not allowed to go to the gym. Strictly PRT, hill repeats, 60-120s, AGR. MSE is push-up and sit-up drills, conditioning drills and that's it. I also keep a journal, and I have healthy eating habits. The work out the SMA conducts you do not really need a gym most of the time which is great. I can not run 5-7 miles three times a week. I have too many injuries and if I agitate those injuring by over working myself, I will not do myself any good. For a rank-and-file Soldier, that word would be additional to what they already do during organized PT. I think its great the SMA can do a work out like that at his age but he might be over doing it. Most of the low fat or low carb diets are cruel and unusual punishment. <br />I was a FPT in the USMC, 24 hr Fitness &amp; Gold's Gym for 20 hrs but retired in 2008 &amp; now just use my home gym. My clients are my 8 yr old grand son and occasionally a friend who wants to try out some of my home gym equipment especially the Proform Bike which is not as expensive as the new Peloton or Soucycle bikes that I have really tested at their respected studios in Chestnut Hill &amp; Natick MA. But for some reason I keep going back to free weights, I guess old habits die hard In the Peloton photo I took off my leather jacket and checked out this bike yesterday at the Natick Mall.. Soulcycle or Peloton Studio Clients pay @$50.00 an hr for one of their classes.. I tried Soulcycle and plan to try Peloton in a few weeks..But I'm probably much too old for either of these new fitness crazes..
