He arrived there on Friday May 24 and is finding out the drone he is supposed to be training on is down and the class is backed up due to it being down for a while and apparently one soldier has informed him he's been there 6 months waiting for his class to start.
We just found out I am expecting and Due in Nov, he was originally supposed to return home mid-Oct but if the class is backed up and there's possibility he won't make it home in time, what is usually done about this? I've heard of NG soldiers being sent home until a class date is set or told to change MOS. Would he be able to take leave or?
Thanks for any help, I'm sure he's misunderstood some things and we're both overthinking but just in case... How does the military handles trainees whenever they have a spouse who is expecting a child during their AIT? 2019-05-28T19:19:42-04:00 SPC(P) Private RallyPoint Member 4676459

My husband and I are both CAARNG, he is currently in AIT at Fort Huachuca for 15W training. Because he's NG and funding is an issue, it shouldn't be a big issue to pull him and reschedule him, assuming class seats exist in the near future.
