Line medic lifestyle and working in a aid station is different. Hell you could even be BMM at the hospital our assigned to a clinic. Our you could do nothing at all. Make sure you expand your knowledge past just trama lanes because that is a crazy small portion of your job. Go for you EFMB as soon as possible and good luck brother welcome to the club. My first duty station and I chose to stay when I re-enlisted. Anywhere is what you make of it. Feel free to read this link from my Facebook if your interested. Stuff like this can happen anywhere, at anytime. Just be ready to help save someone whenever you can bc the Army will be a large amount of tedious and repetitive tasks that will have you questioning if you are even doing mission essential work that matters.. I promise you that the bigger picture will appear with time and rank as you progress. Just do the right thing, at the right time, in the right uniform, and with maybe the most important part of the equation generally not mentioned... with the right attitude! If you remember all that, you will do great things no matter your path!

https://www.facebook.com/510758481/posts/ [login to see] 248482?s=510758481&sfns=mo

Greg Jackson

UPDATE: Just received a visit from the boss of the gentleman who I treated. Other than that you will sit in an aidstation everyday.
