SFC Jeremy Painter 5581688 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I&#39;ve been on station in Hawaii for almost 3 years and my branch manager called and told me that I missed the manning cycle, my only options are Korea and Kuwait. How am I supposed to know when these things are to know when to start asking HRC for PCS moves? Back story to this, I contacted Branch in October of last year (1 year from DEROS) but never heard back. A month or 2 later a new branch manager called me to tell me about my assignments. So basically the previous guy never told me he was switching out. So when I found out my assignments it was too late. How does the enlisted manning cycles work and when do the cycles happen? 2020-02-20T16:04:01-05:00 SFC Jeremy Painter 5581688 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I&#39;ve been on station in Hawaii for almost 3 years and my branch manager called and told me that I missed the manning cycle, my only options are Korea and Kuwait. Your branch should be holding assignments for their people stationed overseas, because they know your DEROS. They know you will need an assignment. At least that is the way my branch explained things to me. Even stationed stateside when i would talk to branch about an assignment i was denied certain locations because they were reserved for OCONUS Soldiers returning. I know this isn&#39;t the answer you were looking for, but just an observation from my OCONUS experiences. I wish you luck and i would be talking to my branch everyday to figure this out if i were you. It&#39;s been made so vague and convoluted that they just do whatever they want anyways, just as it&#39;s always been done Response by SFC Marc W. made Feb 21 at 2020 8:36 AM 2020-02-21T08:36:30-05:00 2020-02-21T08:36:30-05:00 CW3 Bill Wynne 6125033 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I SEE THAT NOT MUCH HAS CHANGED. IN THE OLD DAYS THEY PUT YOUR NAME OF CARDS AND PLAYED SOLITAIRE. THOSE WERE THE SEVEN DIVISIONS, AND THAT&#39;S HOW YOU GOT ASSIGNED A PCS.
