Not only that, but range of our fleet&#39;s weapons would go a long way in to compromising this strategy, as well.<br />If I&#39;m correct in my assumption (I know...I know...), instead of focusing on having a line of actual battleships forming a &quot;Great Wall&quot; on the water, it appears that they are going to utilize man-made islands in the South China Sea as the backbone of this &quot;wall&quot; with battleships filling in the spaces. And the strategy in which they do it is to just ignore their neighbors and to continue their quest by building outposts and bases to protect their so called strategic assets like where the diaoyu islands in the south china sea area.<br /><br />Also they are thinking ahead in the future for if a conflict already happens they will be prepared and better equipped to handle any threat that undermines their authority and sovereignty.
