How do you thing this played out? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/how-do-you-thing-this-played-out

Leaving the chow hall as a Cpl, I was about 10 paces behind a WM PFC. Her face was down doing something as she walked oblivious to the world. I saw her pass 3 officers and the squadon Gunny without a glance. One officer had a star and one had a bird. Visiting inspecting General and the CO, not sure who the other officer was. I passed, saluted and rendered greeting and a few paces later yelled up "Excuse me, PFC!" She turned and I just pointed behind me as I kept walking. Her eyes got as big as baseballs and she hussled back to them quickly. Im guessing they had stopped, turned around and were looking at her.
I never knew what might of came to that but I always wondered. We Marines are rather serious about salutes. To miss 3 senior officers.... Thank you for addressing the issue and saying something. I've seen people let it go and if anything, talk about it someone else about how wrong that individual was instead of correcting the situation. Sometimes it sounds easier to do than it really is. This is where I tell my Soldiers about, "Taking the hard right over the easy wrong." It would have been easy to just let it go but you should those officers respect by addressing the matter and you let that PFC know about respect and doing the right thing as well.
