The USAF occupational badges started being phased in during the 1950&#39;s so I would think they would be listed in the paperwork. If there is anything missing after that I would do some research on a case by case basis.

Security always had large badge, see <a class="dark-link bold-link" role="profile-hover" data-qtip-container="body" data-id="198196" data-source-page-controller="question_response_contents" href="/profiles/198196-68s-preventive-medicine-specialist-807th-mdsc-hhc-807th-mdsc">MSG Private RallyPoint Member</a> post. Try consulting Wikipedia or Air Force history office.
