I go into the ISO and encode the main video into 1080p. This will put the CPU at 100%. I will monitor the heat generated to ensure it does not overheat and then check the video output for glitches. I use MemTest86+ for testing my RAM. It will also tell me if there are bad sectors on the RAM. I have never tested my GPU before, but I have heard of people using Furmark.Response by SSgt Mark Lines made Jun 21 at 2016 12:20 AM2016-06-21T00:20:55-04:002016-06-21T00:20:55-04:00PO1 James Mason1649205

If you are testing stability, then here is a good article on some tools you can use. http://www.pcworld.com/article/2028882/keep-it-stable-stupid-how-to-stress-test-your-pc-hardware.html

If you are simply looking to benchmark, then 3dmark software is pretty good.

Here is the key. Do not buy junk parts and you usually do not have these issues. I also do not overclock. Buy what you need.Response by MSgt Jonathan Stump made Jun 21 at 2016 4:42 PM2016-06-21T16:42:42-04:002016-06-21T16:42:42-04:002016-06-20T23:00:51-04:00
