I'm just curious as to what you think about it. Not the time nor the location I stopped watching NFL games gave up Directv Sunday NFL ticket and haven't watch a play this year. Thanksgiving is going to be tough but I cant support this behavior.Response by SPC Robert Coventry made Nov 10 at 2017 9:31 PM2017-11-10T21:31:14-05:002017-11-10T21:31:14-05:00SSG Private RallyPoint Member3081514

Insulted, being 4th generation military, I'm personally hurt that they would choose to protest during the national anthem. My question to you though is, what have they done other than protest to help alleviate the "issue." Also, what is the issue or rather the root cause of said issue.Response by SSG Private RallyPoint Member made Nov 10 at 2017 9:34 PM2017-11-10T21:34:04-05:002017-11-10T21:34:04-05:00LTC John Griscom3081535

It makes me angry that these pampered one-dimension brats assume their posturing reflects anything other than showboating. And I suspect you don't realize that's what you've done.
"How do you FEEL about about the debate?"
"What do you THINK about IT?" (Which "IT", the act of kneeling during the Anthem, or the debate about kneeling for the Anthem?)
"How does IT make you FEEL?" (Again, which "IT"?)

I'm answering the question, "What do I THINK about people/NFL players taking a knee during the playing of the National Anthem?" My answer is the first line I posted above.

I took an oath to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States of America. Not the Flag of America. It's the Constitution that is the substance and value of this Country, not the Flag. That's what I THINK.

What I FEEL when I see someone take a knee is, "Something's wrong. Why is he doing that?" Most people who comment on this issue are self-centered in their response. "I'M offended." Essentially, they're selfish: this is how I feel. This is why I'M offended.

Taking a knee in front of a stadium full of fans and millions of TV viewers takes some nerve and commitment. Conviction like that deserves a hearing. Which brings me back to...

"I may disagree with what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it."Response by Sgt Bob Leonard made Nov 16 at 2017 11:44 PM2017-11-16T23:44:44-05:002017-11-16T23:44:44-05:002017-11-10T21:28:42-05:00
