Thanks for sharing, I think you also look into putting this into the resources section under the Career Corner tab.Response by SFC James Baber made Dec 13 at 2013 8:07 PM2013-12-13T20:07:06-05:002013-12-13T20:07:06-05:00SFC Private RallyPoint Member257868<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I joined my local VFW Post 4287 in Orlando, FL. We do many fundraisers to help wounded vets along with cancer research. But just talking with the older vets from Vietnam, Korea and even WWII There bring comfort to me. I was wounded twice by enemy action stabbed once and shot and hit by RPG shrapnel. I suffer from PTSD. I suffer from nightmares, wake up fighting pillows and covers. But story swapping has helped greatly. Besides my post donates tons of money to veterans in need. I love the orginization. And the stories I hear from the Vietnam Vets makes me hold my head high. Great post BTW!Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Sep 27 at 2014 10:45 PM2014-09-27T22:45:06-04:002014-09-27T22:45:06-04:00SPC David S.542372<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Hey Jesse, I have a friend that runs SUDS - I'll have to ask him if he knows about you guys. He does the same thing and I have been on a couple of dives with these guys. It was a life changer to see this Marine, a double, swimming around with a huge grin on his face. I will have to check them out as I like little Cayman. <br /><br /><a target="_blank" href="http://www.sudsdiving.org/">http://www.sudsdiving.org/</a>Response by SPC David S. made Mar 20 at 2015 2:43 PM2015-03-20T14:43:48-04:002015-03-20T14:43:48-04:00SGT Private RallyPoint Member583266<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I am a former SCUBA diver with some of the old gear, logbook and books to prove it. But what I really want to say is that I decided to quit diving due to the possibility of deep water blackout brought on by low blood sugar (I am diabetic). What do you guys think of this?Response by SGT Private RallyPoint Member made Apr 10 at 2015 7:55 AM2015-04-10T07:55:32-04:002015-04-10T07:55:32-04:00SGT Private RallyPoint Member1134011<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I wonder if there is any risk reductions for Diabetes like wearing a full face mask. I have hung up my personal diving "career" due to that health condition. I've heard of diabetics continuing to dive but they do so at an increased risk and I personally do not think that possibly drowning from going unconscious due to low blood sugar is worth it.Response by SGT Private RallyPoint Member made Nov 26 at 2015 2:48 PM2015-11-26T14:48:36-05:002015-11-26T14:48:36-05:00SGT Private RallyPoint Member1135083<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Has anyone been to Camp Valor Outdoors in Kingsville, MO? It's a wounded warrior kind of outreach and I am thinking about visiting. They do hunting and fishing, nature walks, four wheeler rides and that sorta fun. I would like to get my recovery group at the VA Honor Annex to go but it is a ways from town so is unlikely they will make the trip.Response by SGT Private RallyPoint Member made Nov 27 at 2015 8:55 AM2015-11-27T08:55:14-05:002015-11-27T08:55:14-05:002013-11-13T21:39:37-05:00
