How do you react when you read about a group that threatens violence if the Constitution is not replaced?

There is a temptation to react to this story as though it's a Black-American issue, but resist it. I don't see any evidence that the black community at large harbors any such sentiment. Look closely and you'll see white faces there. No, this is an education issue. This movement is the logical consequence of teaching American students a new ideology, one that is an anathema to liberty. It is the logical consequence of political correctness.

Keep in mind that the Democratic Party has been using local school boards as the spawning ground for its politicians for the past several decades. Scratch any Democratic Congressman and you'll likely find a politician who began their career on a school board. Republicans simply never caught onto the strategy. They're too dumb. During these decades civics all but disappeared from school curricula. Relativism took root. Traditional concepts of religion, marriage, military service, and civic pride were replaced with cynicism. Liberty was traded for fairness. Equality of opportunity was replaced with equality of outcome (reinforced by trophies for all and never keep score). And now we are threatened to surrender our Constitution or suffer the consequences. How about that?

I would be incensed if a group that threatens violence if the Constitution is not replaced gets much momentum to actually carry out the threat CPT Jack Durish
All politics is local. There has been some momentum to regain sanity in politics in many areas. Unfortunately many college campuses are hot beds of historical and social ignorance and espouse radicalism.

CPT Jack Durish - What is happening in our country is the result of the liberal policies of our current administration, as well as the decades-old liberal indoctrination at our colleges and universities by ultra-liberal faculty and administrators who have never had to actually work in the "real world" and think that everything falls neatly (or, at least, should) into their utopian, theoretical views of the world and society. The truth of the matter is that what actually happens in the real world does not model the theory of "educators". When students at those liberal breeding grounds finally graduate and have to live in the real world, they find out that what they have been taught is not at all what reality is. They voice they discontent and unrealistic expectations to liberal politicians, many of whom also went through a similar indoctrination and, as a result, we get the liberal entitlement, self-obsessed society we live in. This is how all great societies have been destroyed and ours is well on the way to ruin.

The only way to stem the tide of such crap is to stop all the politically correct nonsense, break the entitlement mentality of our society, and put people in office who have actually led something and been successful in the real world.

This is a socialist movement shrouded with racial tension. Sometimes I wonder if the free college movement wouldn't be a good thing - at least these dolts would be getting their money's worth.

I pray to God she's not a finance major. She is right there will always be a top 1% and she is certainly in the running for the top 1% of the stupidest people.

My reaction, "eye for an eye", however, when "you" get everything for free and that is threatened, 1. People act with violent rhetoric, 2. Then proceed with acts of violence. Again, it's a reaction.
Situations start at home, lack of nurturing, lack of a "good" role model, etc. Then schools don't teach civics or American History, they are teaching liberalism, and socialism, placing emphasis on "the easy way". In college, the professor is ALWAYS right. Students can think freely as long as the end result is to their liking.
The "law of the land", means nothing anymore.
These children will continue to try and crack our foundation, with out success?
My age is going to show here...
Was it in 1957 or 1958 that Nikita Krueshev banged his shoe on a podium, and shouted that communism would infiltrate our schools, (he forgot to mention socialism), anyway, has it already happened?

This constitution is one of corner stoned to the foundation of the home which I choose to love and serve. If you don't care for it, or disagree with it and cannot sit Idley by within its walls, then please do us both a favor and pack your things. Equality for all was never meant to be a quid-pro-quo scenario. Because you can't have what you want doesn't mean that you should get to take away something of anyone else's for "equality" purposes.
