I&#39;m a member of a party and have been endorsed each time, but my primary loyalty ends up being to veterans and service members. It makes it very difficult to embrace the binary spectrum definitions of politics as &quot;left&quot; vs. &quot;right.&quot;<br /><br />I wish the system didn&#39;t focus so heavily on broad ideological differences and focused on a tight examination of specific plans and policy goals. This cycle I am supporting Hillary Clinton for the Democratic party and was supporting Lindsay Graham for the GOP. Since Graham dropped out, I&#39;m studying more on John Katich, Chris Christie and Jeb Bush and will probably select one of them by the end of this month.
