After the trajectory of my life was turned from death to life I have found it easier to be thankful. I would love to be more consistent in my thankfulness; but, I struggle at times to be thankful. I take each day one at atime and trust God that he knows whats best and He will lead me along the path of life. To God be the glory.Response by LTC Stephen F. made Nov 25 at 2015 8:38 PM2015-11-25T20:38:09-05:002015-11-25T20:38:09-05:00SGT Forrest Stewart1132839

Always!Response by SGT Forrest Stewart made Nov 25 at 2015 8:56 PM2015-11-25T20:56:19-05:002015-11-25T20:56:19-05:00SGT Private RallyPoint Member1132878

LTC Stephen F., You know where I stand. The reason Thanksgiving is less commercialized is because they are already having ads and sales for Christmas in October. It's ridiculous. Have a blessed and safe Thanksgiving while you're down there feeding the homeless. In life there will always be those things that we can complain about (the Pilgrims had lost many loved ones), but there will also be much to be thankful for. As our society becomes increasingly secular, the actual “giving of thanks to God” during our annual Thanksgiving holiday is being overlooked, leaving only the feasting. May God grant that He may find us grateful every day for all of His gifts, spiritual and material. God is good, and every good gift comes from Him (James 1:17). For those who know Christ, God also works everything together for good, even events we would not necessarily consider good (Romans 8:28-30). May He find us to be His grateful children.
God Bless us all!Response by Cpl Lawrence Lavictoire made Nov 26 at 2015 9:54 AM2015-11-26T09:54:08-05:002015-11-26T09:54:08-05:00COL Mikel J.
