How do you handle toxic people in general?

Once a toxic person enters your life whether it be at the work place, in your family or within your circle of friends, how do you deal with those people and potential toxic situations involving those people?

"Shine in the dark places."

If the toxicity of those around you threatens to consume or undermine you, then you make sure you are squared away and doing the right thing, and you SHOW them all that the filth swirling around you is NOT you, but merely someone's ill-conceived perception of you.

do as my ex wife did leave and find an even worse toxic eviroment, i came home with ptsd she couldn't handle it, her ex bf served with tro for beating her, just saying
