There seems to be some confusion on what exactly that, and this ruling means. I've heard a lot about it over the recent past - on the radio mainly. In addition to allowing streaming services, it's important to the less fortunate among us who may not have reliable Internet or would not be able to afford the increase in prices that the Internet providers might put in place. In this case, I think some regulation is a very good thing. I think this is a big step in the right direction.Response by CW5 Private RallyPoint Member made Feb 26 at 2015 6:33 PM2015-02-26T18:33:02-05:002015-02-26T18:33:02-05:00SGT Jim Z.500363<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I believe that the intention was good but even one of the FCC commissioners made statements that this was a dangerous. He is one of the two Republican commissioner and though I think it was more party talking there he makes some points saying that it will cost the consumer more because regulations costs Internet providers money. Could access be better yes but now the government is going to demand upon ISPs to improve and guess what that means rates will increase just like anything else in commerce the cost is rolled into the consumer price.Response by SGT Jim Z. made Feb 26 at 2015 7:21 PM2015-02-26T19:21:19-05:002015-02-26T19:21:19-05:00GySgt Wayne A.
