There is no finer coffee than the government-issue, Z-Grade, non-brand that we made in a 30-cup machine that was encrusted with barnacles and had not been washed in about two years. Aladdin thermos only holds one large cup and it's really a steel cup, not a thermos. Three a day, with me 24/7,,,,,even cold though I'll sometimes nuke it and get it hot again! Back in the 'day' making coffee was a regular litany followed by everyone to take our minds off the insanity. Contrary to best military tactics, whenever there was a pause in activities of almost any nature, troops would immediately break out their heat tabs and start brewing coffee. Hence I picked up the habit of doctoring it up to soften the taste of the WWII style powered coffee. Periodically I will take it with milk. Since I am in Europe right now, I drink a lot of espresso and cappuccino. I never put sugar in the coffee. I avoid Starbucks and enjoy Dunkins.
