You are likely going to have to find an AC or NG unit that will let you participate in their event. Or live on Oahu, maybe. As you have not doubt noticed, there are very few infantry formations (in fact, 1, in Oahu) in the USAR. <br /><br />On the plus side, there is one more BN of Infantry than there is of Armor...Response by COL Vincent Stoneking made Apr 13 at 2016 8:53 PM2016-04-13T20:53:21-04:002016-04-13T20:53:21-04:00SSG Alvin Amezquita1452497<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>There are no more infantry units in the reserves. If you go to the EIB webpage at Fort Benning's website you can see where the next one's are and get a point of contact. The issue is letting you go. Your state or unit will have to put you on AT orders for is. One week is train up and the next if the test. It can be done but must States don't see the value in it when you are going to miss your regular AT.Response by CPT Private RallyPoint Member made Apr 13 at 2016 9:00 PM2016-04-13T21:00:03-04:002016-04-13T21:00:03-04:00SPC Private RallyPoint Member1452525<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>No such thing as combat arms in reserve ?Response by SPC Private RallyPoint Member made Apr 13 at 2016 9:10 PM2016-04-13T21:10:13-04:002016-04-13T21:10:13-04:00SSG Private RallyPoint Member1452682<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>There is no infantry in the reservesResponse by SSG Private RallyPoint Member made Apr 13 at 2016 10:16 PM2016-04-13T22:16:46-04:002016-04-13T22:16:46-04:00SSG Private RallyPoint Member1452685<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>But contact the nearest NG INF unit find out when they are having EIBResponse by SSG Private RallyPoint Member made Apr 13 at 2016 10:17 PM2016-04-13T22:17:41-04:002016-04-13T22:17:41-04:00SSG Jeremy Kohlwes1452823<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Infantry reservist? Irwin to get in on an EIB that was already scheduled. We did get cheated on a lot of training time. We had about a week to train, and another to test. Qualify, land nav, road March, and test. It was rough and we did great, I want to say it was about 50% pass.Response by SGT Eric Rodriquez made Apr 14 at 2016 7:48 PM2016-04-14T19:48:39-04:002016-04-14T19:48:39-04:002016-04-13T20:37:18-04:00
