But if that&#39;s no help, I say no harm no foul. Response time would take a big hit, causing much anxiety amongst the rank and file. If an admin notices a duplicate discussion question, most times we will merge them, closing the &quot;newer one&quot; and adding all responses to the original posted thread. <br />Links by Admin rules we work under, we do not merge.<br />Many times complaints of &quot;why does RP allow the same topic to be posted 20 times a day&quot; is not what they think.. Its not 20 questions posted on the same topic, it&#39;s 1 question, and 19 links and or member updates all referencing the same subject.<br /><br />EDIT:See below for the pointed response to the question.. It doesn&#39;t matter and you will expose your post or idea to a new set of observers that may well have missed it elsewhere. <br />It&#39;s not about redundant messages so much as it&#39;s about who reads the post.
