I have found this to be a great way to discuss just about any (and every) aspect of the military, leadership, tactics, etc. (the list could go on and on).

Some units where I have served had great professional reading programs -- the commander would even assign an individual to make a presentation about the book or a part of the book. I've also seen field trips coupled with professional reading (to battlefields, for example). I vote for a strong professional reading program to professionalize the force. I think mentors from other than Army classes and the Commanders Leadership Development Programs can help tremendously.

V/r

1SG Haro 1SG Private RallyPoint Member Fri, 28 Nov 2014 16:25:23 -0500 2014-11-28T16:25:23-05:00 2014-11-27T15:03:14-05:00
