We have to hope that the independents and undecided voters see through him and peek behind the curtain on the biggest "reality show" of his life and our time.
Our core-values should never change unless a traumatic event in our lives allows us to see and evaluate the other side of the argument. Donald Trump changes his core-values when it is to his advantage and when he wants to change the "perception" of who he really is. Let's not kid ourselves, he has been preparing for this for years, thus the evolution of his now, Conservative beliefs.
I have never seen such a vulgar and crude person conduct himself in a public forum whether it is on a national debate stage where 10's of million of viewers have tune in across the United States and for that matter around the world or in front of a crowd of his supporters. He has taken political discourse to a new low; shouldn't character and dignity matter, especially in a man who wants to represent "we the people" as our leader of the free world?

This is a man who would defend his "manhood", yet when it came to the Geneva Convention ,would "make" our military violate it by demanding they "obey his unlawful orders"...yes... I know, the next day he reversed his position on that as he has many many time before in other statements he has made on different topics when his mouth and I might add his ego gets ahead of his brain.

My Dad was a simple man; by trade he was a "spice miller", an art in itself, manifested by the fact that you could count their numbers across the country on one hand. He imparted much sage advice to me over the years; here is one I think is most appropriate for this post:

"Choose wisely who you associate with because others will judge you by "their" actions and beliefs and rightfully so".

My hope is, that people will use a similar litmus test to elect a President that holds "true"core-values, is of unquestionable character and someone who will bring "dignity" to the office of The President of the United States of America and not someone who so artfully ..."stokes" the fires of our anger and discontent.

You can't. All these backside deals, prior "failure" candidates coming out to denounce Trump only adds to his "legend". The closest this will happen in if they reach the convention without a clear winner. At that time, the RNC will choose Rubio (he's the safest bet). Trump will be pissed and run on an indie platform, just to spite the RNC costing them virtually any chance of winning the WH. None of us has to like it, but Hillary will be in office on 17Jan17, and unless you're gonna move to Canada or Europe, she'll be your President. The GOP isn't helping themselves any with the constant infighting, on stage unprofessionalism, and backstabbing that is going on. No matter what happens, Trump will be the clear winner. He doesn't have to win to win. His campaign is rewriting the rules as they go along. He will be the topic of how to run or not run a candidacy for decades to come. In all honesty, Trump will live forever in the history books for what he did as a candidate. As much as I don't like him, he's playing this perfectly.

Our out of touch government has created the Trump phenomena. The only people who can fix it are the very people who created it. Creating laws to control Americans, forcing us to buy stuff we don't want and trying to take away more and more of our rights in the name of FREEDOM. This is also why Sanders is doing so well on the democratic side also.

We don't. It is up to the voter and based on what we have today in the Oval Office, sometimes they don't make the wisest decisions. That being said, large enough turnout in the primaries indicate the voter choice is for Trump, not to mention that thousands of supporters attend or try to attend his campaign events. Con Quixote's "Tilting at Windmills" comes to mind.

Direct attacks are having a reverse affect. They only prove that Trump is the anti-establishment candidate and that serves to make his allure stronger to those who are sick and tired of the establishment. Is anti-establishment a good thing? Jimmy Carter was anti-establishment. Indeed, most modern candidates position themselves as anti-establishment. It's become a popular mantra, but proves to be a farce. Well, Trump's anti-establishment mantra is also a farce. As he says, "Everything is negotiable" which simply means "He has no principles" anti-establishment or otherwise.

A Contested Convention sounds like about the only way for Republicans but Rinse and Repeat said he is having none of that, He plans to uphold his part of the deal he struck with Trump if Trump has the Majority no matter how small he will be the Party Candidate.

With all due respect it seems your fearful of Donald Trump potentially being President of the United States.
I have to ask why?
Who really is experienced enough to be President?
Do we go with Senator Rubio who seems to be a flip flop Senator?
Do we go with Senator Cruz who used a filibuster that didn't resolve anything of value and he used part of that time to read his kids a Dr. Seuss story, and the fact that he was a dual citizen until about 18 months ago makes me wonder where his loyalties lie.
I am not in love with Trump by any means but would you want Senator Sanders or Secretary Clinton running our county? If so then maybe it is time to move to Canada or be an expat in the Philippines.

Well let's hope Catholics know what they are doing this time...I'm probably going to stick with "None of the Above" ...... & piss off a lot of Catholics again..?? I usually don't vote because I didn't like anyone since Reagan was in the White House...must be our Irish thing again??
