I was going to say the same thing as the others on here. Check the WORB site for all the info you need. Nobody helped me with anything in my packet, I read all of the details on this site and did what it told me to do and I got selected. Not trying to brag, just saying it's a pretty good site and all you need is right there. Hope the same happens for you if that's what you really want! Good luck!

Unless the standard has changed, you will not get a waiver for a permanent walking profile. I submitted a packet in 2011 while deployed. I also had a walk at own pace and distance profile. My packet got to the branch proponent and got returned from there. You cannot have a walking profile. You have to have at a minimum, a run at own pace and distance profile. From what I had been told about WOCS, you have to run; even if you're the last one and it takes you longer, as long as you're running, you're good. But that's just my experience with the process. You can write the waiver request (an example is in the sample WO application packet you can download from the WOCS Recruiting site) but it is doubtful it will even get to the board.
