How do I get them over to Hawaii or on my orders when that time comes? Do I have to make them my dependents and then they come over? Do we pay out of pocket to fly them over? Will housing accommodate us and give us bigger housing? Any insight would be helpful as I’ve never done this before. I’ve only PCD’d with my son. He married his gf which at the time had a child that was not his. His wife stayed home until he legally adopted his stepchild. Base housing can only accommodate for the dependents that are on DEERS... In order to do that they will have to be your dependents and your husband will need to have custody of them. Once they are on your DEERS you have to get them EFMP screenings and then command sponsorship, then they can receive their own travel orders.<br />As for housing, it&#39;s whatever the local policy is where you&#39;re going.
