How do I find duty descriptions? I'm in Korea and that should be all I have to say.

Chief, did your predecessor leave you a copy of his/her support form? That's usually how I pull duty descriptions for OERs.

Most of the time I have to rewrite it anyway. For the last few jobs it had been the same thing for years and really needed updating to current technologies and even how we fight in a joint environment.

Chief, are you trying to find one for a military billet or a civilian (GS) position? The ones listed in other comments are great for military positions. For civilian (GS) positions try FASCLASS (http://acpol2.army.mil/fasclass/search_fs/search_fasclass.asp).

If you are looking for duty positions in the civilian sector (for post retirement) try Salary.com.

Google "Army MOS Smartbook" Everything is in there. You'll need a CAC to access I believe.

Ted send me an email with your unit info so I can help you better. If you're still doing what you did in BRAGG then DA PAM 750-3 and DA PAM 750-1 have pretty good Field Maintenance position descriptions. There are others but I think these are the most current for maintenance.
