If accepted to the job, my move is 1,276 miles and the orders are for greater than the 20week mark to get authorized PCS. I am unsure how that whole system works. Do I work with a travel liaison with the destination, or do I work with a travel officer in my state? Sun, 27 Sep 2020 16:39:12 -0400 How do guard members get authorized PCS for long term orders? If you haven&#39;t yet applied for the position look at the job title or job position at the bottom of that page you should see the POC name and rank. I would suggest you send that person an email. If/when selected, active duty sends orders to in process at a duty station. Your orders should state &#39;authorized pcs&#39;. While in processing, you can work with the local dps or start the process online (move.mil) to schedule pick up and delivery of house hold goods. Active pays for the PCS.<br />If working for the guard, the process will be different and coordinated through the state.
