That was a Bear for me. I had to take it for my Field but it was not necessary for my Subfield. They just wanted to make sure I wasn't better suited to be a CTI than a CTO. No I was Born to be a CTO from the Get Go. I suspect if you have had any Foreign Language training it would help. My 1 year of French was useless on that Imaginary Language.Response by PO1 William "Chip" Nagel made Jul 18 at 2016 5:50 PM2016-07-18T17:50:45-04:002016-07-18T17:50:45-04:00SSG Private RallyPoint Member1729039<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Check with a CLPM and ask for the DLAB practice test guide. It has a summarized version of what to expect for the DLAB. Helped me prep for mine. Good luck with the 35M world; In/Out calls being N/Y for quite some time, quite a few are reclassing to things like 35LResponse by SSG Private RallyPoint Member made Jul 18 at 2016 5:59 PM2016-07-18T17:59:20-04:002016-07-18T17:59:20-04:00MSG Private RallyPoint Member1754733<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>There's a study guide by a company called Delta Labs or Delta Gear. Buy it, read it, and take the DLAB. You'll do fine.Response by MSG Private RallyPoint Member made Jul 27 at 2016 12:38 PM2016-07-27T12:38:14-04:002016-07-27T12:38:14-04:00PVT Richard Dale1762283<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I found it pretty easy, but that is like saying I find math easy... It's all so relative. The DLAB isn't the hardest part. The MOS is now language dependent so the DLAB has nothing to do with the actual job. It's just a way to see what language you qualify for after you get the MOS. It's not too hard. Just a lot of memory tricks.Response by PFC Private RallyPoint Member made Dec 14 at 2016 10:25 PM2016-12-14T22:25:20-05:002016-12-14T22:25:20-05:00PV2 Private RallyPoint Member2195125<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>It's not bad, I just applied what I learned in Spanish and I did fine.
