LTC Stephen F. 573189 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Today we celebrate Easter Sunday in the evangelical tradition. This year Passover and Good Friday fell on the same day. Today a traditional greeting was &quot; He is risen&quot; with the response being &quot; He is risen indeed.&quot; In many parts of the world believers risk their lives by attending church and letting anybody know they have placed their trust in Christ. In the USA we can generally attend church and acknowledge our faith in Christ without risk of physical harm. Showing love to others is one practical way to demonstrate our faith in Christ. We may be called to give an answer for the hope that lies within us. I try to give my answer with gentleness and respect. Showing love does not necessarily mean agreement with whatever the persons views and actions are. Showing love can be very difficult especially to those close to us who have a radically different perspective and belief system. I try to remember that He has indeed risen and see His face in everyone I disagree with. How can we demonstate that His light shines through us to a hurting world that may not even recognize that it is hurting? 2015-04-05T16:38:37-04:00 LTC Stephen F. 573189 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Today we celebrate Easter Sunday in the evangelical tradition.
